While you can absolutely start creating your experience within our application, we recommend having a clear understanding of your learning objectives so that you can begin to design a rough outline of the learning experience. Even if you don’t have the content finalised yet, you can use our platform to make an outline and then plug in the content later.
To create your first experience:
First go to your project dashboard: https://creator.makeshapes.com/projects
On the top right, click “Create a new experience”
Add the title of the experience. You can always change below in your experience settings.
Then add a section and activities to your content. See further instructions below with more details here.
How to add sections to your content:
A section is a collection of activities that is shown as a new agenda item for your participants. We recommend splitting out all of your content into sections to help participants navigate. To add a new section:
Click on the blue button ‘Add Section +’.
Name your section with what you would want to show in the agenda.
Choose which activities you want to be in this section. You will be able to add the content later.
Click ‘Add’ on the top right to finalise the addition of your new section.
Breakdown of activities:

How to add a break to your content:
For longer experiences (typically more than an hour), we recommend adding breaks for participants to take time to themselves. To add a break:
Click on ‘New Section +’ on the bottom left
Select ‘Break’ and it will be added to the end of the agenda
Edit title, description, and duration.
