The "Note" activity gives participants the opportunity to reflect and record their thoughts. Following the experience, by default, each participants' notes will be emailed to them individually. You can change this by editing the post-experience email template.

How to add a Note activity:

  1. Add a “Note” activity to your desired section.

  2. Add a headline and description to prompt the group. We also recommend uploading an “Audio introduction” that supports the text on the screen. Audio intros play at the beginning of the activity.

  3. Add the prompt that displays on the participant’s device.

  4. Choose your desired time. We don’t recommend more than 4 minutes for a note activity—much longer and the participants may become uneasy.

  5. Create the environment by choosing an image that displays on screen and adding background audio that will play while people complete the activity.

  6. Provoking complex or deep thoughts? Add an optional “Audio tip” to give participants an extra prompt to provoke further.

When to use the Note activity:

  • Use note when you want the participant to record something that will be valuable to take away after the experience

  • Use note when you want participants to commit to an action

  • Use note after a thought-provoking video or activity

  • Use note in conjunction with a Discussion and Group Note, to allow participants to collect their own thoughts, then discuss, then add a group note

Reporting:

  • The data appears as plain text in the report. All reporting data is anonymous.
