Participants choose between a randomly sorted set of prompts on their device to share on a post-it with the wider group. While there is no maximum of how many prompts the author can add, participants can only choose one to share.

How to add Select:

  1. Add a “Select” activity to your desired section.

  2. Add a headline and description to prompt the group. We also recommend uploading an “Audio introduction” that supports the text on screen. Audio intros play at the beginning of the activity.

  3. Add the initial question (or prompt) below that displays on the participant’s device.

  4. Add text in the field below for each possible selection. Click on the plus to add selections, without a max. To remove one, just hover over the text area and select the minus.

  5. Choose your atmospheric background audio that plays while participants are choosing their response.

  6. Provoking complex or deep thoughts? Add an optional “Audio tip” to give participants an extra prompt to provoke further.

When to use the Select activity:

  • Use select when you have a set of options you want participants to choose from

  • Use select when you want to inspire participants with a seemingly infinite number of responses

Reporting:

  • The data appears as the selected prompt (in plain text) in the report. All reporting data is anonymous.
