In a Rate activity, each learner answers one question on a scale. The group canvas shows every learner's rating as a bar with their avatar, so the group can see who answered what. Use it when the group needs to see who answered, such as a compliance question the group then discusses.
Note: Rate responses can be included in follow-up emails as dynamic data, showing each learner's rating or the group's average.
How to add a Rate activity
In the section you want, click Add content > View all activities…, and then choose Rate.
On the group canvas, add a headline and description to prompt the group. We also recommend adding an Audio introduction in the options panel. It plays at the start of the activity.
Under Participant device, write the question learners answer on their phone.
Next to Scale, change the labels at each end of the scale to suit your question. The scale runs from 1 to 10 unless you change it.
Optional: To show learners the same text as the group canvas, turn on Synced with group canvas.
In the options panel, under Time allocated, choose how long learners have to answer.
Optional: Under Background Music, choose the music that plays while learners choose their rating.
Optional: To add an expert tip, which is a short audio clip that gives learners an extra prompt, click Choose audio tip.

To share the group's opinions openly, not anonymously.
To show the range of experiences across the group.
Reporting
The report shows each learner's rating as a number.
