ELP organization settings

The extra organization settings External Learning Providers get: restricted domains, custom regions and a privacy notice.

Written by Cody Iddings

If your organization is an External Learning Provider (ELP), the My organisation tab in Organisation settings has an extra External learning provider section. You can override some of these settings for each client on the Client settings tab. For more information, see Manage clients.

Note: Restricted domain and Privacy notice URL are part of the Enterprise plan.

Restricted domain

To limit learners and hosts to one or more email domains, use Restricted domain. For example, enter @acme.com. To allow more than one domain, separate them with a comma, such as @acme.com, @acme.co.nz. Anyone who uses an address on a different domain sees "Please use your work email address".

Custom regions

Use Custom regions if you want analytics for your experiences by region. For example, you might have groups in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. A region belongs to a group, not to each learner. The host chooses the region when they start a session.

In Custom regions, enter the regions separated by commas, such as Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia.

Privacy notice URL

By default, learners and hosts don't see a privacy notice from your organization. If your policy needs one, enter its web address in Privacy notice URL. A link to it then appears on the registration page for hosts and learners.

If you want learners to confirm they've read the notice, select Show acknowledgement checkbox. Learners then have to select a checkbox on the registration page before they can continue.

If you have questions about these settings, contact the Makeshapes team.
