Some Makeshapes features are powered by AI. They draw on an AI allowance that belongs to your organization, called Makeshapes Assist.
What uses the AI allowance
Text-to-speech: generating narration from text.
Subtitles: generating captions in some languages, and translating them. Captions in the free languages don't use the allowance.
Auto-translate: machine-translating experience content into other languages.
Shape: building an experience from your brief.
Audio dubbing: generating a spoken track in another language. Dubbing has its own allowance, separate from the shared one, because a single dub costs far more than any other AI action. The dialog shows you the cost before you start.
What doesn't
Everything else. Writing and editing content, uploading media, running and hosting sessions, and reporting and analytics don't touch your AI allowance.
If your organization runs out
The AI features pause until the allowance resets or more is added. Nothing else is affected:
Experiences you've already built keep working.
Sessions run normally, even if the allowance runs out partway through one.
Audio, subtitles and translations that have already been generated stay where they are.
Checking or changing your allowance
If you're an administrator, go to Organisation settings, and click the Plan tab. Under Makeshapes Assist, you'll see how much of today's and this month's allowance your organization has used, and when each one resets.
How much your organization gets depends on your plan. To add more, or to talk about which AI features suit your organization, contact your account manager.
