Sometimes participants need to take a break, whether it's to take an external call, use the restroom, or just get some fresh air. The Makeshapes platform allows them to do this without disrupting the group.

When participants are on their break, they are not counted in the remaining participants and the rest of the group can go on normal.

Tap on the "Take a break" link on the top right of the participant device. That's it!

When you return, just return back to the same tab you had and rejoin the session. If you lost the tab, you'll have to ask the host to rejoin. Just make sure you use your same email address.

Note: a host cannot take a break. They host will need to transfer host controls first, then they will be able to take a break.
